Alnwick (Mrs Carr and Mrs Langley - Reception)

Welcome to Alnwick Class page.

What a fantastic first term we have had in Reception. The children have all settled in so well and have adapted to the new routines we have in place.

PE is on a Thursday - please send your child into school in their PE kit on this day.

Forest school is on a Friday - we spend the full day outside in forest school. Please send your child into school wearing warm comfortable clothes on this day. We will then put their waterproof suits and wellies on over the top. Please also send into school a hat and gloves and a spare pair of socks as the children sometimes get wet feet.

Your child may have been given a reading book this half term. If so can you please ensure their reading book is back in school on a Friday in their blue book bag. This is so they can be quarantined and then changed to be handed back out on a Monday. Please do not send your child's bag into school on any other day.

Thank you for your continued support.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or queries and don't forget to keep checking tapestry to keep up to date with everything we are doing in school.

We are always trying to improve our outdoor area and appeal to all children's interests. We welcome any donations if you have any bikes, scooters, old kitchen utensils or outdoor equipment you no longer use at home. We would appreciate any donations. Thank you
