Barnard (Mrs Yaqub Year 3)

Welcome back to school Barnard Class! What an excellent start to the school year we have had already (including winning the weekly attendance reward!!).

Monday -   PE day
                 Hand in homework
Tuesday - Maths/English homework to be given out
Friday -   Children's individual reading books will be changed. Please encourage your                 child to write a comment independently in their Reading Diaries.
Every day your child will read in class for 10 minutes to encourage 'reading for pleasure'.  In class they can read lounging on the sofa, in the wigwam or lie on the floor if they want to. Your child can bring in their own book from home if they want to but it must be labelled.

Barnard Class invites you to come into their class this Tuesday, September 25th 2:30pm, to help us celebrate our love of reading!
Share a book, magazine, comic, etc. with your child.  Feel free to bring in something you enjoy reading at home or share our wonderful range of texts we have in school. Have you a favourite story or author that you loved as a child?
We hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you so you can join in with our ERIC (Everyone Reading In Class) time!
