Dunstanburgh homework timetable:
No homework
Reading comprehension- children will be set a short reading comprehension each week to complete in their green reading journal. This activity should take around 20 minutes to complete
Maths- children will be set arithmetic or reasoning homework. These will be set in the Collins homework books supplied by school. On occasion, children will be set both arithmetic and reasoning, which will be linked to lessons taught in class.
SPaG- children will be set SPaG homework. This will be set in the Collins homework books supplied by school. Tasks will be linked to lessons taught in class.
Reading record- children are to read at least 3 times per week, which will be recorded in their yellow reading journal. This is then to be signed by a parent/carer before being handed in on Friday.
Spellings- children will be given spellings each week. They are to write these out in their spelling homework book 5 times each. They are expected to learn the spelling rule/rules each week in order to gain a better understanding, ready to be tested every Friday.
