Mitford (Miss Richards Reception)

Coming up in Reception.
After school club - Starts Thursday 25th January and will run for 6 weeks.
Library - Starts Thursday 25th January. Come into the school library with your child and choose a book to take home and share. Bring it back the following Thursday and change for a new one. Your child will receive a sticker every time they return a book.

Welcome to Mitford Class Page.

Welcome to Reception!

Our topic this term is 'Jungles and Rainforests'.

PE is on a Tuesday and a Friday, if you haven't already, please send in a PE kit for your child to keep at school. Please ensure this is clearly labelled. If you can encourage your child to dress and undress independently this will also be a great help to us during PE.

P.E kits are needed on Tuesdays and Fridays.

We will be visiting the forest school on site every Thursday afternoon. We have some waterproof suits and wellies at school but if you would like to send some into school for your child this would be great. Please send these in a named carrier bag.

Reading books will be sent home when we feel your child is ready for one. Please let us know how you feel your child is getting on by writing a comment in your child's reading record.

Please send in your child's blue book bag to school every day and check it every night.

Thank you

Miss Richards and Mr Alderson
