Prudhoe (Mrs Price Y1)

Welcome to Prudhoe's class page! You will find lots of useful information on here, as well as updates on what we have been doing.

Children need their P.E. kit every Tuesday. Please leave P.E. kits in school if possible and take them home at the end of each half term.

Children will be going to forest school most Wednesday's. Please leave their forest school clothes in school in a bag with their name clearly marked.

Please remember to return reading books as often as possible and write a comment in the Reading Record.

Homework is sent out every Friday and is due back the following Wednesday.
We have been having lots of fun in forest school this half term! Take a look!
This week we went to a multiskills event at Blyth Sports Centre. We had lots of fun!
We have been busy with lots of Christmas crafts. Today we made Christingles and talked about how they help us to remember God.

In literacy we have been learning about non-fiction books.
We looked at lots of different kinds of books and decided if they were fiction or non-fiction. We looked at the features of a non-fiction book and tried to identify these features in other books.
In computing we have started looking at how to program. We have used the beebots to program different routes and learnt how to debug them when we go wrong.
In maths we have been making numberlines using numicon.
Numicon rocks!
We follow advice from the DfE and all photograph subjects have signed permission.
